I have been involved in creating gardens for over 20 years. I love the varied mix of designing, gardening and outdoor life.
I work with my husband Simon whose background is as a plant nurseryman. He has an affinity for all things to do with plants, nature and animals and his knowledge and experience complements mine. We work together on surveys and planting projects.
Being involved in the running of the SGDG has proved a rewarding voluntary role and it’s great to support such an active and thriving group, which formed way back in 1992.
Together with fellow member Inge Berrie, I organise the SGDG Professional Development Group and CAD support meetings for SketchUp and Vectorworks, which are always great sessions.
In my spare time I love to cook in a Ready Steady Cook fashion! It’s another creative pursuit.
