Surrey Garden Design Group is open to anyone with an interest in design, landscapes and beautiful gardens. Our membership stands at around 80. We’re a friendly bunch of those interested both professionally and personally.
You can see our programme of events HERE We arrange a mix of talks and presentations from designers, plantspeople, technical specialists and business experts. Past speakers have included Charlotte Rowe, Kate Gould, Patricia Fox, Butter Wakefield, Andrew Wilson, Ann Marie-Powell, Mark Gregory, Matt Keightley and Helen Elks-Smith.
We also arrange visits as part of our programme to gardens and other places of interest. Recent highlights include a trip to the Serge Hill project and Tom Stuart-Smith’s barn garden, the Knepp wildlife reserve and an exclusive visit to a garden designed by Acres Wild.
We have a Professional Development Group set up by members to provide peer support for those working in the industry, allowing them to share challenges and ideas on good practice. This has become a lifeline for our many members who work on their own. Recently we have created a separate group for CAD support.
Membership of the Group is held at £40 for 2025 and renewals are every January. As a member you can access:
