I started my working career as an HR Manager working in Leeds, my home city, moving to London with The Peabody Trust and then finally to Polesden Lacey with the National Trust. When the children were school age I had the opportunity to design my own garden here at Hill Farm so I trained at The Garden Design School with Robin Templar Williams and Moira Farnham and then set up my practice designing everything from small front gardens to larger country gardens.
I love the challenge of bringing clients along with me through the design process, encouraging them to get more involved and to bring wildlife into the garden. Now with grown up children I grab as many moments as possible with the family, I am experimenting growing fruit and veg at home (not always a success) and I love to walk in the Surrey Hills with our pointer. When time allows I help my husband with his eventing horses and I am determined to finally put my projects forward through the Adjudication process.
