You’re invited to join us for an evening with Stephen Anderton, professional gardener, writer, presenter, author, lecturer and an award winning journalist for The Times.
Before turning to writing, Stephen worked as a professional gardener for over two decades, and acted as the English Heritage National Gardens Manager. Perhaps best known for his column in The Times, which has won first prize in the Garden Writers’ Guild awards three times, he also writes regular columns for Garden Inspirations and contributes to Gardens Illustrated, Country Life, The Garden and many other well-known publications.
In The Lives of the Great Gardeners (2016), one of his many published books, he’s looking at 40 influential gardeners, and the tales of their lives beyond gardening as examining their impact on the world of horticulture.
