Capturing the spirit of an original design intention in the restoration of a garden – Mark Lamey

Mark is going to be talking to us via ZOOM about how to capture the spirit of the original design when restoring a garden.

Mark trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and the Royal Horticultural Society’s, Wisley and then went on to receive an MSc in the conservation of historic gardens and cultural landscapes from the University of Bath.

Horticulture and its branches in garden design and conservation have been his career for over three decades. Career highlights include working for the National Trust as Gardens Adviser, including working with the Head Gardener at Sissinghurst and in 2016 he was project manager for the Trust’s Capability Brown tercentenary celebrations.
