Richard Eborn

I am a qualified garden designer and run my own landscape and garden design company Gardens Reborn Ltd. I have clients in Surrey and West Sussex. I am also refreshing my design training by undertaking the Oxford College of Garden Design postgraduate diploma in garden design part-time whilst practicing as a designer locally in the south east of England.
I originally trained as an architect at Sheffield University in the early 1990’s before changing career and studied horticulture at Plumpton College, East Sussex and subsequently garden design under the training of Nigel Philips in 1998-9. I have worked in the professional horticultural industry for over 28 years and have also qualified in RHS Level 3 Advanced Certificate and RHS Level 3 Diploma in horticulture. I worked at RHS Garden Wisley as a full time horticulturist in the Trials Team for nine years and recently as a part time horticultural advisor for the RHS until July 2024. Whilst there I helped design the new Trials Garden, Viewing Mount, Orchid House and numerous annual displays. The most recent design work being developments for the orchard.
In my spare time I enjoy walking, drawing and sketching and following all sports especially cricket.
