I am a qualified garden designer and horticulturist. I work part time as a Horticultural Advisor for the Royal Horticultural Society and part time in the garden at RHS Garden Wisley working in the Formal section of the garden mainly on the Mixed Borders. I am trying to set up as a garden designer this year having recently helped with the design concept of the Orchid House in the Glasshouse at Wisley. I also helped create the Trials Garden there too, among other designs around the site at Wisley.
I originally trained as an architect at Sheffield University before changing career and studied horticulture at Plumpton College and garden design under the training of Nigel Philips. I have worked in the professional horticultural industry for over 25 years.
In my spare time I enjoy drawing and sketching and following all sports especially cricket.
