Joanna Grzeja

I always felt affinity with natural world, having experienced free range childhood in Polish countryside and on my grandparent’s allotment. After a brief career in banking and long time spent raising my three kids while looking after home and garden I decided that retraining in garden design is the way to go.

Having finished an online course with KLC, I set sail on my own and now I’m enjoying my first projects coming to fruition. As a designer I hope to be able to introduce naturalistic planting style and sustainable practices into my client’s gardens. Along the way I discovered the thriving and supportive community at SGDG and decided to get engaged in the shared role of Groundcover editor.
